Karoo Collectables & Slabs

Terms and conditions

The rules for using our website and buying from us.

Last updated 6 November 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Karoo Collectables & Slabs ("we", "us"), Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. Contact: support@karoocollectablesandslabs.co.za.

By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms, together with our privacy, refund, cancellation and delivery policies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create an account or buy. You must confirm your email address before you can sign in.

Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, or reselling in breach of purchase limits.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe every item as accurately as we can. Raw cards are graded by us using the condition guide on our Help page; graded slabs are sold as graded by the grading company (e.g. PSA), and we don't guarantee a grader's opinion.

Photos of sealed product may be representative. Colours can look different on different screens.

Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. We are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is shown separately at checkout.

If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel for a full refund.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Please pay by instant EFT so your payment reflects immediately. EFT orders are held for 48 hours; if payment hasn't cleared by then the order is cancelled automatically. Your order is only confirmed once payment is received.

5. Orders and stock

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm payment. Stock is reserved while your order awaits payment.

If an item turns out to be unavailable or damaged before dispatch, we will tell you and refund you in full.

We may limit quantities per customer, especially on new releases and pre-orders.

6. Pre-orders

Pre-order items are paid for upfront and ship when they arrive from our supplier. Release dates are estimates set by the publisher or supplier and can change.

If a pre-order is delayed by more than 30 days past the estimated date, or the supplier cancels or short-ships, you may cancel for a full refund. See our cancellation policy.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
